Our organic honey

We have been using our organic honey for many years from one of the most prestigious european honey importer. It consists of a mixture of several honeys from Latin America. This ensures consistent quality and consistency.

Destination

For us, the quality starts with the health of the bees, because only if the bees feel well, they have vital queens, from whose descendants strong and healthy population arise, one can reap honey with high quality and goodness.

Organic beekeepers work according to the following principles:

  1. The purity of the wax is the basis of beekeeping.
  2. The careful selection of traditional honey plants.
  3. A respectful and kindly dealings with the bees with their own queens.
  4. Use of natural materials for hive production as well as pollutant-free paints.
  5. Non-food material and equipment during harvesting and processing.
  6. A preventive disease care.
  7. No use of chemical-synthetic bee medicines.
  8. Consistent ecological action.
  9. High demands on quality, taste and naturalness.

Only mature honey from covered honeycombs are harvested, carefully hurriedly hurled, gently and well-balanced. Our supplier ensures that no small wax particles can cloud liquid honey. Only then they are carefully filled and securely closed.

Strict control of quality

The supplier's operating laboratory checks the honey for proper, analytical values such as water content, enzyme content, HMF value (hydroxymethylfufural, a value for the possible heat damage to the honey) and its sensory properties. The absence of residue is confirmed by an external, accredited laboratory.

Organic beekeeping is active environment protection

More than 80% of all flowering plants depend on pollination by the bees. The yield of self-pollinated plants such as rape, for example, increases by 20 - 30% by the pollination performance of the bees.

Apiculture makes a very important contribution to the preservation of nature and ensures a great diversity of plants throughout the region.

The value of the fruits and seeds produced exceeds the tenfold of honey.
Among the insects, only the bees or the wild bees are flower-loyal, ie they fly to the same kind of flowers until the nectar source is exhausted. Only then do they look for a different kind of flower.
